Leaderboard

A weekly points ranking of all learners — off by default.

The leaderboard ranks learners by the points they earned this week (since Monday), including points for sequences and challenges. Learners see one board for all learners in your account. Your team can also see a board for each learner group — a team, a branch, an intake.

The leaderboard is off by default to respect your team's privacy. The account owner turns it on in Account settings → Gamification → Settings; it needs Points turned on.

What learners see

On My overview, learners see Leaderboard this week on its own Leaderboard tab in the bottom bar: the top 10 and their own place (highlighted as You), even if they're further down. Other learners are shown with their first name and the initial of their last name only. The board ranks all learners in your account; learners don't see group boards. Learners without points this week aren't ranked.

Challenges → Leaderboard

Team members who can edit see the board in Challenges → Leaderboard: All learners first, then choose a group to see its ranking with full names and the short names learners see. Click a learner to open their profile.

Previous weeks

The board opens on This week. Use the arrows next to the week's dates to go back to earlier weeks — as far back as the first week anyone in your account earned points — and forward again; This week jumps back to the current one. The group you picked stays selected when you change the week. Groups are shown with the learners who are in them today, so a learner who joined a group later appears in its earlier weeks too. Learners themselves only ever see this week's board.

The week starts on Monday in your account's time zone, so everyone starts from zero each week. Points earned earlier still count in the learner's total.
