Media
The image and video library shared by your whole account.
Media in the left menu holds all images and videos uploaded to your account. Lessons in every space share it. Editors can open it.
Adding images and videos
Wherever you choose an image or video in Grizlet, the chooser offers:
- Upload new — upload from your computer. Large JPG and PNG images are resized to at most 2,000 px before upload.
- My media — files already in your library.
- Create with AI — Grizzi AI creates a new image for you (images only, see below).
- Photos and Illustrations (and Videos for video cards) — free stock media. The file you choose is copied into your Media, into the Downloads folder.
Organizing
Create folders, drag files into them and rename them. Select several files to move or delete them together. Moving a file doesn't change the lessons that use it.
Replacing a file everywhere
Click a file to see its details, including where it's used. Replace uploads a new version: every lesson that uses the file shows the new one.
Deleting
Only unused files and empty folders can be deleted. If you select files that are still used in lessons, Grizlet tells you which ones it kept.
Creating images with AI
In the image chooser, open Create with AI and choose what to create:
- Photo — a realistic photo of people, places or objects.
- Illustration — a flat illustration in a clean style, in the colors of your lesson style.
- Diagram — a process, comparison, timeline or simple schema. The labels are in the lesson language and the colors follow the lesson style.
Describe what you want in a sentence, in any language. When you create an image from a card, Grizzi AI also reads the card text, so a short description is often enough.
Under Size on the screen, choose how much of the phone screen the image takes: 1/3 or 1/2 at the top of the card, or Full screen as the card background. The image is created in the matching shape, and when you use it on a card, its placement and height are set for you. Quizzes and other cards that only allow a background image offer just Full screen.
Click Create.
Photos and illustrations take a few seconds, a diagram up to a minute. If you don't like the result, change the description and click Create another. Use this image puts the image on the card and fills in its description for screen readers.
Every image you create is saved to Media › AI images, even if you don't use it. Images never contain text — for labels, use a diagram. Each image counts against your plan's AI credits.
AI presenter videos
On a video card, choose Create AI presenter to create a video with a virtual presenter: write the script and choose an avatar, voice and format (vertical or horizontal). Rendering takes a few minutes. You can close the window — the finished video appears in Media › AI videos and you'll get an email. AI presenter videos count against your plan's AI credits.
Storage
The storage available depends on your plan. You'll see how much you use at the top of Media.
