Help people spot phishing, protect data and prevent digital threats.
People learn to spot phishing by judging real-looking examples, not by reading a list of warning signs.
Teaching approach: Explore first. Learners decide whether an email is phishing before they learn the signs — a wrong guess makes the explanation stick.
What the lesson looks like
| # | Card | What to write |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Poll — How many phishing emails reach you each month? | Gets people thinking. |
| 2 | Quiz — Is this email phishing? | Describe a realistic email (or add a screenshot); the comment points out the signs. |
| 3 | Card — How to spot phishing | The sender, urgency, an unexpected link or attachment. |
| 4 | Quiz — And this one? | A second example — sometimes genuine. |
| 5 | Card — Protect your data | The few rules that matter most. |
| 6 | Matching — Match each threat with the right reaction | Practice. |
| 7 | Checklist — If you clicked on something | Disconnect, report to IT, change your password. |
Tips
- Screenshots of real phishing your company received (with details removed) work best — add them as quiz images.
- Mix in genuine emails so learners don't just answer "phishing" every time.
- Always say what to do after a mistake and who to report to. People who fear blame don't report.
